Happy April! (Personally, not really, but you know, it is spring.) Today I work on my skill of documentation!!! I love recording the procedure, but reading and writing documentation, I think the key of making a good documentation/having a documentation literacy for digital humanities is that we clarify the specificity of the hardware, software, app, version of the app and software, and the navigation of the app. It is really crucial to identify what is and what is not generalizable. For our project, “Student Activism at Grinnell College,” we need to create a documentation for 1) Git and VS code collaboration process and 2) Digital Grinnell/atom navigation process on top of the cataloging procedures.
