About

“Poetry for Comfort Women” is a final product for GWS-395 “Feminist Geography” offered at Grinnell College taught by Professor Clara Montague. With a goal to geographically represent human-trafficking and expansion of imperial, militarist sexual violence within the “Comfort Women” system and make a connection of solidarity with a modern writers and survivors, I created a StoryMap on ArcGIS.

“Being a Bridge in Colonial History and Present: A case study of Comfort Women commemoration in Europe” is a final product for WGS-391 “Independent Field Research in Europe” offered by Carleton College as a part of Women’s and Gender Studies in Europe, with a supervision of Professor Iveta Jusova. The research involves interview with people who work in the heritage sector in the Netherlands and in Germany.
