This project was a plus-2 extracurricular project in GWS-211 “Introduction to LGBTQ Studies” offered at Grinnell College with surpervision of Professor Leah Allen. With a goal to explore the feeling of “being marginalized” in the discourse of Queer/feminism studies in the classroom and centralize such marginalize bodies in the learning environment, we created a syllabus for an imagined class “Racial Gender Studies: Beyond Eurocentrism.” We also presented our research progress at the WGS Spring 2024 Conference at Iowa State University,
